Energy efficiency
A project with contemporary architecture and innovative construction, designed taking into account the principles of passive architecture, the surrounding sociocultural context and the principle of versatility that can be given to buildings. Ten houses, in blocks of semi-detached houses, others isolated, in horizontal ownership, with two floors, direct access to minimal common areas in gated community. Each fraction has a front courtyard (parking) and a rear courtyard (closed courtyard). The condominium is closed, has a circulation path with automatic entrance and exit gate. The houses are carefully designed to maximize natural light, minimum maintenance and form equals function. It is possible if the user intends to create a strong connection between the interior spaces and the exterior environment. Each fraction has two private parking spaces under a pergola, which can easily be converted into an extension of the social area, adapting to the needs of users. On the ground floor, the versatile spaces include a private area, ideal for office, bedroom, suite or even to host a studio inspired by local traditions. The kitchen and living room offer space and comfort, illuminated by natural light, perfect for creating unique moments with the family. On the first floor, the rooms can be configured as two large suites or, alternatively, as a suite and two bedrooms. The main and rear facades are 100% glass, and the user can put opaque curtain inside or shutter. In addition to the elegance of the dwellings, the glass avoids maintenance of the building. The shading of the first floor is not done by the traditional blades that lead to a lot of maintenance. It is made with the use of photovoltaic panels, raising the concept of equal function to the maximum. Located in the parish of Alheira, in Barcelos, the project is in a quiet, safe and welcoming environment, being an excellent balance between nature and proximity to urban areas.
